For over four decades, Bengt has worked on the global stage making his firm and their global clients successful in growing revenues and market share. With extensive experience on nearly every continent, he ensures that our global communications programs are sensitive to the idiosyncrasies of local business markets.

Before becoming President at Slack Barshinger, Bengt worked at Beloit Corporation and Tetra Pak International, building local operations throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, Middle East, India and Africa. His years at Tetra Pak culminated in serving as President and CEO of Tetra Pak USA from 1991-1996. During this time, he also headed up the global accounts team for his companies­, ensuring superior account performance on a global basis.

When not helping Slack Barshinger’s clients expand globally, Bengt also is CEO of Interverbum International, a globalization and localization company serving the needs of global companies, including those in the public sector, health care, manufacturing and transportation verticals. Bengt has stayed close to his Swedish roots, remaining highly involved in national business and is currently the Chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Sweden. In addition he recently served as the Chairman of the Swedish Modern Pentathlon Association.
